Sawarini
Whenever I walk in Cairo with my camera visibly hanging from my neck, I hear calls of “Sawarini!” (Take my picture). I almost always respond to the request; depending on my mood, I may wait for the requester to pose, or take a shot before they expect it. Here’s a selection from this ongoing series of photographs.
